Greetings Village de l'Est Parents and Students,

It is an honor to be a part of the Einstein Learning Community, and I am eager to build upon the successes of our district. I am committed to fostering an inclusive, equitable, safe, and nurturing environment that promotes academic excellence in every facet of teaching and learning. VDLE promotes high expectations for all students. My team and I regularly engage in a variety of professional efforts designed to improve student learning, including professional discourse, the use of external resources, formal time to implement professional development, and opportunities to apply skills, practices and ideas gained to improve curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
 
At VDLE we see parents as partners in the education of their children, and students as active participants in their education. We believe that teachers, students and parents are involved in meaningful and defined roles in decision making that promote responsibility and ownership. VDLE’s focus on a culture of collaboration, teachers are expected to exercise initiative and leadership essential to the improvement of the school. These efforts are primarily designed to increase student engagement in learning.
