Our Story
Einstein Schools is governed by a group of dedicated community members that contribute to diverse ideas. The members of the Board of Directors bring a wealth of knowledge that ensures that the district's mission is moved forward successfully and with intentionality. The board meets monthly as a full board, and in smaller committees that make recommendations to the full board. Committees include Academic Excellence, Governance, and Finance. These meetings are free and open to the public. More information about board meetings, board policies, and related documents can be found on the Board Meeting Updates Tab. INTERESTED IN BECOMING A NEW MEMBER?
The election of new members shall be held annually in June. The term for a newly elected member shall begin the following month. A new member shall be elected to the Board by a majority vote of all currently serving members. The Einstein board is inclusive of at least one parent or legal guardian of one or more students currently enrolled at any Einstein Charter Schools operated by that governing board in Orleans Parish.
