Nicholas Bijou

Nicholas Bijou is a proud New Orleans native and relational leader committed to building strong schools through trust, community, and meaningful relationships. He began his career in education in 2013 as a classroom teacher and has since served in several leadership roles, including Instructional Coach and Administrative Officer, before stepping into his current role as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Einstein Charter Schools.

As Interim CEO, Nicholas is leading Einstein through a period of transition and renewal, focused on strengthening academics, enrollment, school culture, and the overall experience of students, families, and staff. His vision is rooted in ensuring every member of the Einstein community feels seen, heard, supported, and valued while preparing students to become innovative thinkers and leaders.

Nicholas earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana and a Master of Arts in Teaching Biology from Tulane University. He is currently pursuing his PhD at Louisiana State University, where his research focuses on teacher retention and the impact of school leadership.
