Board of Directors

Einstein Schools is governed by a dedicated group of community members who bring diverse perspectives and ideas to the table. These committees include Academic Excellence, Governance, and Finance. INTERESTED IN BECOMING A NEW MEMBER?

The election of new members shall be held annually in June.  The term for a newly elected member shall begin the following month.  A new member shall be elected to the Board by a majority vote of all currently serving members. The Einstein board is inclusive of  at least one parent or legal guardian of one or more students currently enrolled at any Einstein Charter Schools operated by that governing board in Orleans Parish. Election of a Parent or Alumnus Representative to the Governing Board​

The Board of Governance will include in its membership at least one member who is a parent, legal guardian, grandparent of a current student, or an alumnus of Einstein Charter Schools.

Eligible persons may be recommended by the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) or may submit a resume directly to the Board of Governance. 

 

Persons who are employed by Einstein Charter Schools are not eligible to stand as a parent or alumnus representative.

 

All nominees must be presented to the Board of Governance at least 30 days before the election or appointment.
